Welcome to December, with six regular season weeks of NFL action remaining. Time for bettors and prognosticators alike to turn a good season into a great season. And we waste no time for the locks with Thursday Night Football...
Last Week: 7-8, Locks 3-2
Season 91-87-2, Locks 28-31-1
Dallas -4.5 @ New Orleans - Hot off the presses, Alvin Kamara is out and Taysom Hill is starting for the Saints, coming off a home drubbing at the hands of previously struggling Buffalo. Not like the Cowboys have been doing great neither but will jump at how this spread has actually gone down. Detroit +7 v. Minnesota - The Lions have not been winning but at least trying enough to cover spreads. The Vikings Alexander Mattison has cracked the top-five in fantasy running back rankings for this week. San Francisco -3.5 @ Seattle - Don't look now, but the 6-6 Niners suddenly look like a real dark horse threat out of the NFC. The Seahawks offense has been AWOL for the past month. Denver +10 @ Kansas City - If the Broncos somehow pull off the upset in Kansas City, there could be possibly four teams tied at 7-5 at the end of Sunday. I will go with the year-plus trend of the Chiefs winning but not necessarily covering. New England +2.5 @ Buffalo - As I said last week, the Patriots are barreling towards the Super Bowl in the wide open AFC. We will know more about both teams after the Monday night showdown.
