Quality over quantity this week, three games (HOU @ TEN, DEN @ NE, KC @ BUF) off the board leaves 11 games to pick, a nice manageable number. Cincinnati @ Indianapolis - Bengals had heads handed to them in Baltimore, step more back into their weight class this week. Atlanta @ Minnesota - What is it about cursed Atlanta sports? As I write this the Braves doing their best to replicate blowing a 28-3 lead.
Washington @ NY Giants - More news about Dan Snyder messing with the cheerleaders, at least Giants competitive last week and should get first win.
Baltimore @ Philadelphia - Eagles had seven and a hook in Week 5 and it looked for much of the game they would cover.
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - The Browns never, never, ever win in Pittsburgh. Just pull up any of the old NFL Game of the Week presentations, 1972, 1977, 1978 (Tony Dungy sighting), 1979, 1980, it is the same ending. The Browns did get a rare W at Three Rivers Stadium in 1986. More recently the Browns have not won in Heinz Field since 2003. Baker Mayfield is hurting and Cleveland only has one other QB on the roster this week.
Chicago @ Carolina - Random message board I read, 'The Bears will always foxtrot, unicorn, charlie, kilo you'. Enough said.
Detroit @ Jacksonville - Jaguars getting points at home against a dead coach walking. Like Jags in this spot.
NY Jets @ Miami - Another great week of drama at Jets camp while Miami comes off impressive blowout of 49ers.
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay - Spread on this has actually gone down in recent days to -1 or even a pick 'em. Davante Adams returns and I like Green Bay's run game more.
LA Rams @ San Francisco - Jared Goff's girlfriend to be featured in SI swimsuit issue while Niners in injury-riddled, post Super Bowl letdown. Lock LA.
Arizona @ Dallas - This would be my 1-point confidence game. Cowboys actually getting a couple points at home. Locks: Minnesota v. Atlanta, PIttsburgh v. Cleveland, Carolina v. Chicago, Miami v. NY Jets, LA Rams @ San Francisco. Overall Record: Last Week 8-5, Season 41-33-1
Locks: Last Week 3-2, Season 17-8
