You have not heard the last of Memphis's Ja Morant
A quick look at the seven Game 5s scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, along with my point spread picks and five of the over/under selections. Boston Celtics (+12.5) at Brooklyn Nets, o/u 231.5 (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. ET) - So Kyrie Irving triple dogged-dared a fan to due something stupid after stomping on the Celtics logo. Look for Brooklyn to close out the series, but Boston will keep it close in a lower scoring game. The picks: Boston, under Portland Trail Blazers (+1.5) at Denver Nuggets, o/u 225.5 (Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET) - I do not see Damian Lillard having another 1-10 night from the field, I will take the Nuggets in a high-scoring squeaker that may need OT. Picks: Denver, over Los Angeles Lakers (+5) at Phoenix Suns, o/u 207.5 (Tuesday 10 p.m. ET) - Anthony Davis looks doubtful for G5 while Chris Paul continues to be held up by duct tape. Lebron James may need an epic playoff performance. Picks: Lakers, over Washington Wizards (+5.5) at Philadelphia 76ers (Wednesday 7 p.m. ET) - Joel Embiid (knee) set to undergo MRI, that puts him on the dark side of iffy for G5. Pick: Wizards Atlanta Hawks (+1.5) at New York Knicks, o/u 207.5 (Wednesday 7:30 p.m. ET) - The Hawks have the proverbial commanding 3-1 lead in the series, but I do not think they will close it out Wednesday. Knicks win one more at MSG to extend season. Picks: New York, over Memphis Grizzlies (+10.5) at Utah Jazz (Wednesday 9:30 p.m. ET) - It will be a losing cause, but Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks have made a national impression and will be hellbent to make a point in front of Utah's NewsMax/QAnon fan base. Pick: Memphis Dallas Mavericks (+7) at Los Angeles Clippers, o/u 217.5 (Wednesday 10 p.m. ET) - Strange series where Luka Doncic's health has become the main storyline. There was a playoff series in the bubble last year where the designated road team won each game. Could it possibly happen here? Pick: Mavericks, over
