More dangerous than the novel coronavirus, Hurricane Delta remains projected to make landfall in Louisiana by Saturday, leaving LSU's home date with Missouri in doubt.
Both teams have an open week available on Nov. 7, LSU home games in 2015 and 2016 were postponed by hurricanes, and LSU's scheduled 2017 opener in New Orleans was moved to Houston on short notice.
Other scheduled SEC games include Tennessee at Georgia, Florida at Texas A&M, South Carolina at Vanderbilt, Arkansas at Auburn, Alabama at Ole Miss, Mississippi State at Kentucky.
