Six-Hour Standoff At Truman Sports Complex

Suspect allegedly fired shots at Arrowhead Stadium employees around 11:30 a.m. Officers used less than lethal force to eventually bring suspect into custody six hours later. Incident caused Royals scheduled 6:05 p.m. start at adjacent Kauffman Stadium to be delayed. No fans were affected as no attendance currently allowed at MLB games.
