Hours after Jaylen Hurts sparked and rallied the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth quarter of an eventual 30-16 loss at Green Bay, head coach Doug Pederson will not tip his hand on whether the Alabama/Oklahoma product will make his first career start in Week 14 at New Orleans. Pederson finally benched Carson Wentz and his $128 million contract early in the second half. It has not helped that Wentz dealt with an injury-ravaged offensive line and been sacked an alarming 50 times.
With the Eagles 3-8-1 and now 1 1/2 games out of first place in the NFC East, the smart money says Hurts will gets the nod at the Superdome.
